Best TWS Earbuds Under Rs 5,000 To Buy In India 2021

1. Noise Shots Neo 2

You know, for a pair of truly wireless earbuds that are priced under Rs. 2000, the Noise Shots Neo 2 have great build and design. It features a minimal design, which gives some kind of premium touch. It comes with a charging case that has a matte finish on the top and is entirely made up of plastic. The quality of the plastic build is decent and definitely justify the price tag. Another best thing is that the case here is pretty tiny and lightweight which is great. The case have a matte finish which don’t attracts any fingerprints, But please note that these types of surface is easily attract the scratches, so be careful while carrying in your backpack. Inside the case, the earbuds sit flush and pretty. The earbuds are held tightly via magnetic pins inside the case, these do not fall off from the case even if you hold the case upside down. There is an LED light on each earbud and one on the charging case, which indicates the remaining battery and charging status. It offers decent comfort because of tangle ear tips and lightweight design, but the story does not end here. Yes, it fits perfectly in ears but not comfortable for everyone, especially for those who have small size ears. The pairing process is exactly the same as the other True wireless earbuds, simply open the charging box, after which Green & Red LED on the buds should start blinking, this means that Neo 2 is now ready to be paired to a device. As soon as the connection is established, the blinking LED should go off. You can take the earbuds out of the charging case and start using it. The connection range provide by these earbuds is around 10 meters, which is common in most earbuds. It can only be connected to one device at a time, so if you connect to a new device, the other one will be disconnected. The Noise Shots Neo 2 come with a multi-function touch control on each of the earbuds. This touch control works really good and used to perform everything from answering and ending incoming calls, controlling music, launching the voice assistant (Google voice assistant and Siri) and more. The company claims 5 hours of listening time from the earbuds on a single charge, at 80% volume. But after two hours of continuous listening at 80% volume, the Neo 2 had dropped down to 75% charge. So yeah, they will easily last 3 hours on a charge. Coming to the audio quality, the Noise Shots Neo 2 offers fairly good audio quality with a decent amount of bass with the 6mm drivers. The driver’s size is fairly small, but still, the overall audio quality is loud and clear. The Neo 2 can transfer sound by using SBC and AAC Bluetooth codec only and lacks high-quality aptX codec support, but we shouldn’t expect high-quality codes at this price point. Overall, sound quality is good, as you would expect for the price. Pros:

  • Good design and build
  • Compact and lightweight
  • Decent battery life
  • Sound quality is decent
  • IPX4 Sweat Proo

  • Not 100% waterproof
  • No USB Type-C
  • Not comfortable for all users

2. Oneplus Buds

The Oneplus bullets are quite famous when these were launched in India. The bullets were launched in neckband style. Now the Oneplus came back with the modest design this time. The newly launched Oneplus Buds are the mixture of Apples airpods & Google’s pixel buds. This is surely an Apple airpods alternative, it looks just like every other airpods alternative in the market. This Oneplus buds came into a pretty plasticky oval case, thats bit wider than the case of Google pixel buds & thicker than the apple airpods. On the bottom there is a USB type-C port, on the back a pairing button, on the inside magnets hold the buds snugging the case. They came in black, white & in the new crazy teal color. The Oneplus calls the buds design “half in-ear” design. According to Oneplus, this design ensures you a snug fit for long periods of usage. Means you can easily listen to your favorite music for long hours without any discomfort. When worn, the OnePlus Buds feel lightweight thanks to a design that points the exterior shaft downwards, outside the ear. That’s a good thing in a lot of ways. You can wear these in-ears for a good chunk of time without feeling any discomfort or getting that invasive pressured feel that often occurs when you use more tightly fitting ear tips. The buds are equipped with a unique noise cancellation algorithm and three microphones to improve clarity, OnePlus Buds will fliter out background noise for clear voice recordings and easy-to-hear calls. The good news is that the Buds can produce great sound. If you like bass, you’ll love the OnePlus Buds. While the bass is definitely prominent, the sound feels quite well balanced – and there’s enough detail that you get a good sense of everything going on. OnePlus states that the case can provide up to 10 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging. Up to 30 hours of battery life is claimed per charge cycle, with a promised listening time of up to seven hours from the earphones and a little over three additional charges from the case. When the batteries are drained, all you need to do is pop the buds back into the case for 10 minutes. The case also supports Warp Charge 10 minutes of charging via USB-C affords 10 hours of battery life, which is insanely good. It takes 80 minutes to complete a full charge cycle for the earbuds and case altogether. Pros:

  • Great Battery life
  • Very affordable price
  • Lots of Bass

  • Phone calls aren’t clear
  • Requires a OnePlus phone to customize controls

5. Realme Earbuds S

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Earbuds S in India. The rebranded Redmi AirDots S come in at a highly competitive price point of just ₹1,799. At that price, it’s difficult to judge a product like this. However, if you’re wondering whether you should buy these or not, here’s my review of the Redmi Earbuds S. The case here is pretty tiny which is great, even if it does feel just ever so slightly unsatisfactory when opening it up. It doesn’t have that very tactile feeling that some other earbud-cases offer when the lid is popped open. the Redmi Earbuds S come with a microUSB port for charging which is just a little sad. However, considering the price point I won’t hold a grudge about this. What I absolutely refuse to accept however, is the lack of a microUSB cable in the box. Xiaomi said a lot of good things about how comfortable these earphones are, and how well designed they are for fitting into the average Indian ear, and for the most part that’s true. The earbuds sit quite comfortably in the ear, and wearing them for hours at a stretch; sometimes without realising that it had them on. Both of those are great things for earbuds. There’s the fact that the Redmi Earbuds S don’t have great sound. They simply don’t. The soundstage feels narrow, and the earbuds struggle with instrument separation in the mids. Plus the bass, while thumpy, is also muffled. On the other hand, they are priced at ₹1,799 and at that price, this sound quality is also understandable. I mean, at this price point your choices are incredibly limited. There’s not a lot to compare these earbuds with. For earbuds this small, the Redmi Earbuds S have a surprisingly good battery life. Xiaomi claims 4 hours of listening time from the earbuds on a single charge, at 80% volume. That claim is more than true by the testing. After two hours of continuous listening at 80% volume, the Redmi Earbuds S had only dropped down to 60% charge. So yeah, they will easily last 4 hours on a charge. Pros:

  • Really well priced
  • Great design and build
  • Fit and comfort is on point

  • microUSB cable is not included
  • Sound quality should have been better
